Welcome to Dale Ray Hunting Preserve.

We offer hunts for wild boar, exotic sheep, goats and deer. Other legal animals are also available upon request. By keeping animals running free within our large hunting area at all times, we can offer our hunters a very challenging and rewarding hunt. We put an emphasis on the hunt, with the taking of your animal the culmination to that hunt.

The traditional methods of still hunting and/or stand hunting are used to take your trophy. Dogs may also be used when pursuing boar. All hunts are strictly fair chase.

Everyone has heard about Ohio's Big Bucks and we have some in our area. We offer hunts for whitetail deer during bow, shotgun and muzzleloading seasons located on private land. An Ohio hunting license and deer permit is required for all whitetail deer hunts. Early bookings are advised in order to assure you of your hunting date. A $50.00 deposit is required to book your hunt. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Deposits are deducted from the hunt price when you bag your animal. Personal checks are accepted for deposits only. All hunts must be paid for in cash. If lodging is desired, one night’s room accommodations must also be paid in advance.

Rifle, shotgun, muzzleloader, handgun, bow or crossbow may be used to pursue your game. For wild boar, being the tough animal they are, rifles of .270 caliber or larger are required. Handguns of .357 magnum or larger are required. For animals of the sheep and goat family, any center fire cartridge is sufficient.

Excellent taxidermy services are offered on the premises at comparable prices. A $100.00 deposit is required on taxidermy. Skinning and caping are included in taxidermy prices. We will skin and quarter animal to be mounted elsewhere for a $15.00 fee.

For those of you who still love to hunt, but don't get around quite as well as you used to, there is no problem. One of our carefully selected guides will take you to your stand by 4 wheel drive vehicle or 4 wheeler and return to pick you up. We take care of field dressing and getting animals out of the woods for all hunters.
